Once they’re done, the roof rafters or trusses come next. For speed, trusses are the fastest approach to go. Two men can erect and nail eleven trusses by 50 percent hours easily. That’s a twenty foot shed at twenty-four inch centers. Install all truss bracing shown on the plans, install the mandatory hurricane clips and securely nail everything in place. Double check when you build to make sure that walls are common plumb and square. Roof sheathing comes next as well as picking a roofing material.
Once the roof is water tight, turn your attention to cutting out of the question and door openings ensuring that the sheathing is tightly nailed across the perimeter of each one opening.
